One keepsake, or a new story twice a week

They are used once — to paint your child's illustrated character — and automatically deleted from our systems: at portrait approval on account orders, and always within 30 days. They are never used to train AI models and never shared. Only the illustrated character is kept, so we can make their books. Read the details in our Children's Privacy and Privacy Policy pages.

From three to five clear photos, we paint several storybook-style portrait options in your child's likeness — hair, smile, freckles and all, in a warm illustrated style. You pick the one that feels most like them, and that exact character (same face, same outfit) then stars on every page of the book, so your child recognizes themselves throughout.

You pay after you approve the character — never before. If none of the portrait options feel right, you can regenerate new ones, and if you're still not happy you can simply walk away without paying anything. The approval step is exactly what it sounds like: nothing is charged until you say yes.

Because you see and approve your child's character before paying, the biggest "what if it doesn't look like them?" risk is gone before money changes hands. If something is wrong with your finished book after that, contact us and we'll make it right. Full terms are in our Terms of Service.
